For 8 weeks during the summer in 2018, I attended The New York Code + Design Academy’s UXUI 101 course. In the course we learned the necessary process to create an innovative user experience. We covered information architecture, user personas, usability testing, user scenarios, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and interface design. The final project in the class was to practice the UX process by creating a mobile app.
The Client:
My group of 7 friends that need to plan group vacations and upcoming wedding accommodations efficiently.
The Problem:
There are many factors to consider when planning a group vacation and no place they can all be managed at once. Creating a dedicated area for groups within Airbnb’s existing platform will centralize details and provide transparency for the entire group.
The Solution:
A fictional concept for Airbnb that allows groups to efficiently plan a group vacation and manage various aspects of their trip together.
